Moyamoya disease commonly manifests with signs and symptoms of cerebral ischemia or infarction in children,but adults tend to present with intracerebral hemorrhage.We report a case of moyamoya in an Indian woman who presented atypically with transient attacks of right-sided carpopedal spasm.Subsequently,she had a cerebral infarct in the left middle cerebral artery territory-a rare complication of this disease. |
